The City of Oxford offers Christmas tree and holiday light recycling annually.
To Recycle Your Christmas Tree:
- Remove all decorations from the tree prior to setting the tree at the curbside.
- This holiday pick up service does not include wreaths or garland.
- Oxford residents may place live Christmas trees at the curbside for disposal on regularly scheduled refuse collection days. Yard waste tags are not required for this service.
- The City of Oxford Streets and Maintenance Division picks up and recycles trees.
- This service will run until January 30th, 2026
To Recycle Your Holiday Lights:
- Bring your lights to the Oxford Municipal Building at 15 S. College Ave. and place in the box in the back parking lot (entrance off of Walnut Street).
- Please leave your lights loose and do not place them in a bag.
- This service will run Monday, November 17th , 2025 until Friday, January 30th, 2026
