The Finance Department, under the direction of the Finance Director, is responsible for the audit and maintenance of all City financial records and accounts including all assets and liabilities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The director is responsible for the custody, investment, and disbursement of all City funds and follows the investment policy as established by City Council. The department maintains effective and efficient procurement procedures, provides accurate and efficient payroll services, and ensures enforcement of the income tax ordinance.  The department is also responsible for centralized billing services for Water, Sewer, and Trash, and the collection of all other miscellaneous receivables generated throughout the City departments.
