The Personnel Appeals Board of the City of Oxford shall be composed of three (3) qualified electors of the City who shall be appointed by City Council for three (3) year (staggered) terms. City Council shall fill vacancies by appointment for the unexpired term.
It shall be the duty of each member of the Board to attend all meetings of the Board and to devote as much time as is necessary to the management of the business and affairs of the Board.
The Board shall have the power to hear and determine appeals of disciplinary actions, suspensions, demotions, or removal of nonexempt employees if such matters are not resolved upon a hearing and determination by the City Manager.
