Oxford night viewThe Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA) consists of five members appointed by City Council to serve for a term of three years. This decision-making board hears and determines appeals from the refusal of building permits and to permit exceptions to and variations from the zoning regulations in individual cases, as may be required to afford justice and avoid unreasonable hardship to property owners. Standards for the board's decisions are established by City Council. 

Meets: Fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM when there are cases to be heard

Residency Requirement: Members must reside in the City of Oxford to serve.
