Options for Public Participation:

Option 1:  Speak During the Meeting:

 

By Computer: Join the Zoom Meeting by 7:30 pm

On the computer, click the Raise Hand button when you want to speak. The meeting moderator will see this, unmute your microphone, and call on you to speak.

By Phone: If you do not have access to a computer, you may call into the meeting by following these instructions:

Enter Webinar ID: 897 3459 4237

Dial *9 when you want to share your public comment and the moderator will unmute you.

 

There are different ways to speak during the meeting:

1. About a topic that is not on the agenda:

You’ll raise your hand at the beginning of the meeting when the Mayor asks “would anyone like to speak to items, not on the agenda?”

2. About a Resolution or Ordinance on the agenda.:

You’ll raise your hand when that item is being presented to Council.  The Mayor will ask “would anyone like to speak to this item?”

 

Option 2: Submit a written E-Comment prior to the meeting:

 

Residents may submit an E-Comment Form to share their thoughts with Council.   We ask that you try to submit these comments at least two hours prior to the meeting. 

Typically,  staff will read these comments aloud during the meeting.  There are exceptions. If we receive a large number of comments, these will be shared with Council in writing prior to the meeting and summarized verbally during the meeting.  

All e-comments are submitted as part of the public record and their contents are added to the meeting minutes in their entirety.
