Covered Bridge Repairs
This project is complete and the bridge is open to pedestrians and bicyclists.
Decayed wood support posts are being replaced on the covered bridge at the end of Corso Road. Timber Frame Reclaim is working as water levels allow. The bridge, which connects to the OATS trail, is temporarily closed to pedestrians and bicyclists for this project.
Annual Street Resurfacing to Begin
This project is complete.
This project will begin August 12, 2019 on Campus Avenue (Chestnut St. to High St.).
Traffic will be maintained except for Wednesday, August 14th. There will be no driveway access or parking lot access on this day, weather dependent.
City Council awarded a contract to Barrett Paving for the 2019 Street Resurfacing Project.
Traffic will be maintained, where possible, throughout the resurfacing project. Delays can be expected so allow extra time to reach your destination. Motorists should obey construction traffic signs and flaggers.

Curb, Gutter, and Sidewalk Replacements
This project was awarded to Jackson Construction and will begin in early July 2019. Specific areas of the City were marked for replacement in conjunction with the current street resurfacing program. This work is weather dependant and should be completed by the end of the summer. This project is complete.
CDBG Handicap Ramp Replacements
Each year the City applies for grant money through the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to replace handicap ramps throughout the City. This year’s contract was awarded to Gridiron Construction and was completed in mid June. This project is complete
Oxford Area Trail (OATS) Phase II
On June 4, 2019, Oxford City Council awarded this project to Sunesis Construction.
The construction of this section of OATS multi-use trail, for pedestrians and cyclists, is approximately 1.35 miles long and will connect SR73 East to Pfeffer Park on US 27 South. Funding for this section is provided by local government, Miami University, and OKI.
This project is scheduled for completion in October, 2020.
