Municipal Building/Police Station & Former Lane Library Renovations


Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Oxford at the office of the Service Director, City of Oxford Municipal Building, 101 E. High St., Oxford, Ohio 45056, until 10:30 a.m. local time, May 30, 2017, and publicly opened and read at that hour and place.  The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities in the bidding; and to enter into a contract with the bidder who in their consideration offered the lowest and best proposal.  The City also reserves the right to hold all proposals for 60 days after the opening date, although not accepted or rejected.  Potential bidders shall attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting to be held on Friday, May 19th, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Former Lane Library Building located at 15 S. College Ave., Oxford, Ohio, followed by a walk-through tour of the current Municipal Building at 101 E. High St., Oxford, Ohio.

The work for which proposals are invited consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment required for the Municipal Building/Police Station & Former Lane Library Renovations.

Contract documents may be obtained from ARC Document Solutions, 7157 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati, OH  45242, where they are available for inspection by prospective bidders.  Each set of contract documents will consist of a project manual and construction drawings.

The cost of each set of contract documents will be based on the format requested by the potential bidder.  No refunds will be made. 

All submittals shall be on original bid documents provided by the City of Oxford in the original plans and specification package.

Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex or national origin and are required to follow all State of Ohio prevailing wage rate requirements.
