Board of Appeals (Building/Housing)

Consists of five members, appointed by City Council as follows: one for five years, one for four years, one for three years, on for two years, and one for one year. Thereafter, each new member shall serve for five years. Council shall also appoint two alternate members for five-year terms with the same qualifications as board members. A decision-making board that hears appeals of any person affected by a decision of the code official or notice or order issued under this code. The Board meets at the Courthouse but generally only meets when there is an appeal filed.
