Program & Equipment Scholarships
Program scholarships are being made available by the Oxford Rotary Club. You can pick up a scholarship form at the TRI Center on the first day of registration. The form must be filled out and turned in by the end of the registration period. No scholarship forms will be accepted after registration is over. In case of special registration (i.e., swim lessons), you can pick up a scholarship form one week prior to the registration date. It must also be returned within this time period for approval. Contact the Recreation Department for complete details.
All registration for classes, leagues, etc. that are made after the official last day of registration are subject to a late fee.
Returned Check Fee
If your check is returned to us by the bank for any reason, you will be assessed the fees accrued by the City of Oxford, payable at the Oxford Municipal Building.
Refunds/credits will be given for classes cancelled by the department, if you withdraw before it begins, if you are moving from the area and if you become ill and present a doctor’s statement. You may receive either a full or pro-rated refund/credit towards another session. A processing fee ($5.00 or 10%, whichever is greater, of class fees) will be deducted from all refunds.
Senior Citizens or Military Discount

Statement of Purpose
The Mission of the City of Oxford Parks and Recreation Department is to enhance the Quality of Life for the citizens of Oxford and surrounding areas by planning, developing and maintaining quality recreation programs, facilities and parks.
Fair Share Policy
An Oxford resident or a person working in Oxford makes a significant contribution to the financing and operation of the Parks & Recreation Department. The city property tax and income tax are paid whether or not the individual participates or uses the facilities of the department. The fair share concept is intended to apportion to non-residents an equalized fee, so that they contribute to the overall financing of Parks & Recreation Department on an equitable basis with the resident. Non-resident fees will be applied to residents that do not live and/or work within the city limits of Oxford.
Adult Volunteer Opportunities
Become an adult volunteer for programs and special events throughout the year. Volunteer hours will earn you credits to be used towards certain programs and weight rooms. Call (513) 523-6314 for more information.
Participants may be photographed during recreation programs. Photographs may be used in printed publications; brochures, newspaper articles, fliers and web pages by the department. All photos are property of Oxford Parks and Recreation Department.
