State Licensed Preschool Program

The OPRD state licensed preschool is comprised of three classes and is a program committed to each child’s growth and development through hands-on,
developmentally-appropriate activities.  Throughout the school year, we will focus on pre-emergent literacy skills, social skills, self-help skills, and gross
and fine motor skills.  Our lesson plans align with Ohio’s Early Learning and Development Standards and will provide child-led activities as well as teacher-led.
The goals of the preschool program are to encourage a love for learning and independence in a fun and safe environment.  (Maximum enrollment:  16/class)

Monday, Wednesday, Friday AM:  (4-5 yrs.) Pre-K class emphasizing kindergarten readiness skills and serves children who will attend kindergarten the following year.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday PM:  (3-5 yrs.) Mixed-age group where modeling and nurturing from older students will benefit both age groups to develop confidence
and build social skills.  Kindergarten readiness also emphasized.

Tuesday, Thursday AM:  (3-4 yrs.) Emphasis on self-help, social skills, and confidence building, while also introducing basic kindergarten readiness skills.
