City Council

City Council represents the citizens of Oxford in the Council-Manager style government. The seven-member council sets the city’s policies, establishes city goals and oversees and approves the annual budget.

City Council also appoints the City Manager, Finance Director, Law Director and members of the boards, commissions and committees.

City Council

City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month and encourages residents to attend. Council meets in the Council Chambers of the Oxford Courthouse.
