IRRIGATION METERS

The City of Oxford has portable irrigation meters available for purchase and use by those customers doing outdoor watering.  The Portable Irrigation Meter Program allows customers to use water for outdoor purposes (gardening, etc) and receive a credit offsetting the sewer charge.  Portable irrigation meters are taken yearly, usually in the fall, to the Utility Billing Office to be read.  A sewer credit will be calculated and posted to the user's utility account according to current Portable Irrigation Meter Policy.  Irrigation meters may be purchased at the Utility Department in the Municipal Building at 101 East High Street.  The cost of the meter is $50.00 and is nonrefundable.
